Dr. S - Hi, Ladies!

Dr. S is an orthopaedic consultant in SMC.
It is nice to follow him for his orthopaedic round in ward and in Out-patient Department.
He is willing to teach us (student nurses) what about his own patients. Sometimes, when you are lucky, you can get homework from him and remind him to ask you to tell him what you've found about the homework he gave.
He is a very understanding dr. He will try his best to discharge pt whenever pt is okay to discharge. He thinks about pt's financial and family members, too! He always try to speak cantonese to pt "有痛?没痛?少少痛?" with a bit of his tamil accent...but understandable larr. Pt will answer accordingly.
There was one time in Out-patient Department, a female pt told Amy and me : "医生的样子像傻子,傻傻地。" Then, he asked : "What did she say?" ...we were scratching our head to think what to tell? the lie or the truth? as it was not a good word to tell in front of the dr. Pt was asking us not to tell but dr wanted to know..Then, I wanted to tell : "She said you look like sxxpxx." but I didn't say it because Amy answered faster : "She said you look blur blur." haha..what a great answer. That was a great scene to be there to watch the dilemma of two naive student nurses. hahaha \(*v*)/
Dr. S is gentlemen. Most of the time he will greet : "Hi, ladies!" to all of us..which is quite sweet to listen a dr. greets like this to nurses. When going out of the ward : "Bye, ladies!" hehe =p very shuang.
Last few weeks, he gave Amy and me a homework about Compartment Syndrome and we prepared something to tell him back. He really listen to us and explain more details to us. From 30% understanding flew to 80% understanding about Compartment Syndrome (general larr)... consider geng already you know... eventhough I checked through Wikipedia, it is also quite difficult to understand for a layman like me... ish~! but Thanks a lot, Dr. S! You taught me a lot.
Yesterday, like usual, I'd followed him for his orthopaedic round, something funny happened.
Dr. :"Okay ladies (Jun and me), this pt has Lew-Shin-Kou."
HN :"Ok.."
Dr. :"Do you know what is that?"
HN :oh shit.. "Hehe, no."
Dr. :"You mean you don't know what is Lew-Shin-Kou?"
HN :"Oh, yea lorr." shit lorr what medical term is that? I must know wan meh?
quickly took out my book and write down Lew-Shin-Kou..go back home google it.
Dr. :"It means this pt has high urine acid."
HN :"Oh, okay."
.............
.............
HN :"Oh!!! 尿酸高!!!!! hahahahahaha!!!"
Dr. :"Understood already?"
HN :"Haha, yes yes yes."
Dr. :"It is called Lew-Shin-Kou in cantonese."
HN :"Haha, yea lorr.."
He pulak yang teaches us cantonese...my god! His tamil accent ah..real funny one. =p
Today, he gave me a homework about wound healing.
Dr. :"Okay, you find out for me what is the factors influencing wound healing."
HN...blue-ed off~ =)
