Management Nursing

Started my very first management posting last Monday, 28th February 2011. As it is still new to me, I was tagged with the in charge of the shift. I am very happy that all the in charge I tagged to are very friendly and super willing to teach me everything they know. These days I was working happily due to the conducive learning environment I had.

What are the things that in charge do?
* Ward rounds to check on patients for complains and health progress
*Follow Dr.'s ward rounds to know the plans and changes made
*Admission, transfer in and out, discharge and home leave processes
*Liaise with other departments for procedures planned for patients


I am happy that management (in charge) is my cup of tea. I love to be the in charge but not the writing and passing report parts. I dislike writing and talking in fast speed. ^^
